A’Beckett Student Precinct

The Richmond malt houses and silos have been an iconic landmark to generations of Melbournians and a significant part of both the Richmond and Melbourne townscapes for over a century. Originally developed in the 1850’s –1860’s as a brewing and malting site, malting still takes place there today. The complex consists of malt houses, stores, silos and offices –and not to forget, the treasured Nylex sign and clock.
